The government of the Punjab School Education Department has not extended the winter vacations for all schools in Punjab until 9 January 2024. All Public and Private schools in Punjab are closed for winter break until 1st January 2024. This winter break starts on 17th December 2023.
CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi will announce the final decision as he is very kind for the health and safety of students. The cold is increasing day by day and smog is also increasing.
Due to the weather situation Govt is thinking to extend winter vacations in schools until 9th January 2024. All schools will reopen on 10th January 2024 with the same routine and hours.
